Phave and Phun Photos

Photography has been an interest of mine since my 20s. I bought my first camera in the late 60s and slides were my chosen end product. Over the years, during several home moves, I lost most of them ( a big regret ). I bought my first digital camera in 2004 and it has been much easier to save my pictures to computers and external storage devices. And, with the aid of image programs, I have been able to work with them in a variety of ways to present them for viewing here.

The Phaves

I’ve been lucky to have traveled a bit and lucky to have had a good camera to take pictures. Pictures here are from Stockholm, Prague, Amsterdam, Santa Cruz and Monterey Bay, CA, Ireland, Maine, Massachusetts and some other nice places. Below is a selection of my phavorites. I’m having phun using Photoshop Elements to add an Artistic Effect to my original photos – Adobe A.I. interprets the characteristics of painting styles ( Post-Impressionist, Traditional Oil, Abstract, Cubist, and more ) and applies it to the chosen photo. For example,
